Diwali in Maynmar in celebrated with the same rituals and traditions as is celebrated in India. Maynmar is a neighbouring country of India so it has large member of Hindu population. Therefore most of the Hindu festivals are celebrated here with the same Hindu essence. Diwali in Maynmar is celebrated according to Hindu solar calendar. It is celebrated on the moonless night of ‘ Kartik’ month according to Hindu solar calendar. People in Maynmar decorate their houses with light . People prefer to lit traditional lamps to light their houses. They light their houses from outside as well as inside. The light every dark corner of their house and near about. People buy new clothes on this occasion and wear new clothers on the day. They cook delicious foods and enjoy on the day. They share sweets with friends and neighbors. Then they also do enjoy tradition music & dance. At night they also worship Goddess Laxmi as we do in India. They shre delicious dishes with friends and relatives. Maynmar people remind themselves their soot culture and traditions. This is their way to be connected with Hindu religion and this riches culture of the world. On this day , there is atmosphere of harmony and joy all around. People love this festival very much and feel pround to attached with Hindu religion. Although Maynmar is neighbouring country of India are shares its border with India but on Diwali it seems that Maynmar is completely turned into India and sharing all traditions and rituals of India.
